"cold-burn"

Has anybody ever experience this?

When I got off from school and work today, I was on my way to the parking lot. The wind was really blowing hard today, I guess it was somewhere like 15-17 mph. Problem, it blew and carried out a really super duper cold breeze, yes they call it windchill. I was talking on my cellphone while walking down to the car. I thought my hands were strong enough to handle the cold, but no longer than 3 minutes, I felt a great sore in my hands and fingers... I think it was way to cold.... So I hung up my phone and put my both hands on the jacket pouch... It helped a lil bit. But, somehow my hand turned red, especially in the upper surface skin... I think I got some kind of 'cold burn' instead of 'sun burn' haha... It's still red hot chilli, just like sun burn... everytime I touch that part, it's a bit pain.... Hmm...
